Bachlorette Contestant Local and Country Ties

As you're all well aware, I'm recently obsessed with ABC's The Bachlorette. 

Dan + Shay and Charles Kelley had a lot to with my recent obsession. They were featured on a recent episode, both performing during really romantic dates that would never happen in real life. But the more I watched the more I couldn't stop. Who wouldn't want to be stuck in a house with all those good looking men? Obviously, I kept watching and now I even have favorites.

One of my favorites is Luke. Who was a part of the Dan + Shay date two weeks ago and also happens to be an up and coming country artist. Going through his Instagram page, it looks like he was into the country music scene before joining The Bachlorette. Luke hung out last week at CMA Fest and even has two singles available on iTunes.

Luke also has some local ties to the Hudson Valley. According to Luke's profile on the official Bachlorette website, he's a war veteran. After some more research it looks as though Luke graduated from West Point in 2007 and served in Afghanistan for a few years.

It must be his quiet confidence...and definitely his good looks that are pushing him to become a front runner to win JoJo's heart. He's already won mine. I'll just leave this picture here for good measure:
