If you listen to the show, then you'll know by now that I love The Bachelor / The Bachelorette franchise.

For someone who is very single, this may come to a shock to some, but I honestly think I love it because I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Also the drama keeps me coming back for more every Monday on ABC.

While this season, featuring Arie "I love that" Luyendyk Jr, was a complete bore had the most dramatic ending ever. Spoiler alert, Arie told both ladies he loved them, proposed to Becca and then changed his mind and is now engaged to Lauren.

Yeah, it's mind-numbing.

Thankfully LA Times journalist Amy Kaufman was there to save us all. Kaufman wrote, what I'm calling a bible for Bachelor fans, Bachelor Nation: Inside the World of America's Favorite Guilty Pleasure.

Kaufman who is a fan of the show started writing recaps about The Bachelor and was invited to post show events and included in the ABC Bachelor inner circle. That is until her recaps according to ABC became too negative.

Bachelor Nation  gives fans an inside look of what goes on behind the scenes, and let me tell you, there is A LOT going on. From psych evaluations, shady producers to extremely binding contracts Bachelor Nation  is the behind the scenes look we've always wanted.

Amy was kind enough to call into the Waking Up with CJ and Jess show to discuss Bachelor Nation  and her time behind the curtain that is The Bachelor.
