Since I'm riding solo while CJ is on holiday vacation I decided to change things up today. Instead of a Useless Fact of the Day, I turned it to a useFUL Fact of the Day. On this day in 1955, NORAD tracked Santa for the first time ever.

NORAD is the North American Aerospace Defense Command. The guys and gals at NORAD are watching year round to detect any kind of atmospheric threat. So who better to track the big man flying around the world with eight reindeer? NORAD of course!

I'm 26 years old and I am not ashamed to admit that every Christmas Eve I head on over to NORAD's website and see where Santa has been. If you're looking for something to keep yourself and the little ones entertained tonight check out the Official NORAD Tracker. There are games and fun activities to keep everyone on their toes and looking towards the sky.

Merry Christmas!
