One of the best places locally to enjoy a variety of outdoor events for the whole family is the Mohonk Preserve. They have a full calendar of events that spans the entire year. One of their most popular is Rock the Ridge.
Rock the Ridge is a 50-mile Endurance Challenge that takes place this year on Saturday May 6th. This annual event offers participant the opportunity to traverse a 50 mile course set inside the spectacular Mohonk Preserve. Obviously this challenge require some preparation so this weekend hopeful participants will have an opportunity to prepare on the course with the “A Taste of Rock the Ridge.”
This weekend Mohonk Preserve is offering a “sample” for people interested in being part of Rock the Ridge. On Saturday you can take part in A Taste of Rock the Ridge. from 10 am to 1pm. The group will meet at Spring Farm Trailhead and get an energetic introduction to this year’s Rock the Ridge.
