Are You Ready to go Camping?

If you could hear the great outdoors calling your name all winter long, rejoice because camping season is finally here. Especially in Orange County, where Winding Hills Campground is now open for the 2015 season.

You can find Winding Hills Campground just off Route 17K on the Town of Montgomery and Town of Crawford borders. Winding Hills features 51 camp sites for varying levels of camping, from basic tent camping, to RV sites. You can get out and enjoy the great outdoors without having to travel for hours and hours.

According to the office of the Orange County Executive, there are also a number of locations with electric access and all sites are located close to restroom and play area facilities. Campers can take advantage of the trail system located throughout the 518-acre park, as well as boat rentals that are available weekends on Diamond Lake.
