I hope you cleared your schedule for this weekend. Saturday marks the 3rd annual Hudson River Craft Brew Festival at River Front Park in Beacon. Last years event was a super fun time and it sold out! I have an inkling that this years festival will be even better.

Not only will you be sampling from over 200 different brews and 85 different breweries, but we've added a lot of great features. This year there will be local food trucks, great live music and a silent disco. If you haven't heard of a Silent Disco, you and everyone around you are given headphones with the same music playing throughout. So while you're partying to your favorite songs everyone on the outside can't hear it. It's actually pretty fun for those participating and those watching from the sidelines.

This morning CJ and I welcomed Josh from Nine Pin Hard Cider. They'll be on hand this Saturday with a bunch of great options. Today we tasted their original Hard Cider, Belgian and Ginger ciders. All three are fantastic, but if you're looking to get in the fall spirit I'd go with the Belgian. Of course, like Josh explained, you can make a Moscow Mule with the Ginger cider and the Nine Pin original is one of my all time favorite adult beverages.  All three ciders are Gluten Free and made with local New York apples. If you miss Nine Pin this weekend at the Hudson River Craft Brew Festival, make sure to check them out up in Albany and online at www.ninepincider.com/.
