If you love horses, great food, and listening to beautiful music, then you should head to Monte's Local Kitchen and Tap Room in Amenia this Monday night, March 12. You will get to enjoy all three of those things in one elegant evening. It's an Evening with Friends to Benefit Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue from 6 - 8 pm.

You'll enjoy authentic Italian hors d'oeuvres by the fireplace and listen to Christopher Macchio, an Italian tenor who has performed independently for Mayor Giuliani, Rod Stewart and Brian McKnight. There will be a cash bar, silent auction, and more. And it all benefits Lucky Orphans. Since they opened their barn doors in 2008, Lucky Orphans have helped many horses, along with some sheep and goats, find a more promising and meaningful future.
