If you enjoy a bag of Skittles get ready to have your mind blown.

Both Jess and I agree that we both enjoy a bag of Skittles from time to time and when we read this we couldn't believe it.

According to BroBible, all Skittles are the same flavor. WHAT!!! Yup, according to a neuropsychologist named Don Katz all skittles are the same generic fruit flavor.

But why do we think skittles are different flavors? He says that it's because our brains associate their colors with certain tastes, for example, we know that yellow is supposed to mean lemon, so we think yellow tastes like lemon and even crazier, the folks at Skittles actually scent the candy so when you bite that yellow Skittle, your brain sees the color, smells the smell, and you believe you're eating a lemon flavor. BUT YOUR NOT!

Katz says the reason they are all the same flavor is because "It's cheaper to make things smell and look different than it is to make them actually taste different."

Our minds were blown by this and we both have a hard time believing it so we decided to try out a little skittles taste test to see if we can guess the Skittle flavor without seeing it.
