On August 18th, the Medical Reserve Corps of Dutchess County will be holding an Active Shooter Preparedness Program. Dutchess County Sheriff Butch Anderson stated " Hopefully, none of us will have to use this potentially life saving information, but it's important to prepare ourselves for all types of emergency situations."

The Active Shooter Preparedness Program will be held at 7pm at the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response at 392 Creek Road in Poughkeepsie. The program will be presented by Dutchess County Deputy Sheriff Arthur Hart.
