With July upon us we are sure to start enjoying foods we reserve for those summer treats and BBQ's. One of my favorite summertime treats is the Lobster Roll. What is it about the hotdog bun stuffed with juicy lobster meat that says summer yum!. It must be all those New England summer of my childhood.

I went searching the internet for a lobster roll recipe to share and I came up with two very different ideas. I have to say the more traditional lobster roll prepared in the Culinary Institute of America video is more my style, but I have to admit that the BBQ recipe has an outdoor summer feel that makes it almost more authentic.

I have decided to let you decide for yourself which recipe is more your style. The Lobster Roll apparently made it's debut in a restaurant named Perry's in Milford, Connecticut in 1929.
