Two words. Beer. Tour.

Nothing beats a day out in the Hudson Valley enjoying some of the awesome local beers we have to offer. In recent years the Valley has truly burst on to the craft beer scene. It seems like during every season there's at least one or two beer festivals for us to enjoy.

There are a ton of beers to sip on in town and one website broke it down for you.

October, a travel/entertainment online magazine wrote a story titled "A Hudson Valley Beer Tour Down the Taconic State Parkway."

The article focuses on all the great local breweries there are from the city up to Hudson. They mention Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, Sloop Brewery in Elizaville and make a stop at Suarez Family Brewery in Hudson.

While at Suarez they speak to Dan Suarez who tells them that he is all "about making beer that anyone can enjoy."

The folks at October also make a stop at Plan Bee Farm Brewery in Poughkeepsie and describe the perfect beer drinking day "It’s a warm-enough 65 degrees here. Weeds wave off in the distance. Drinkers munch on local jerky. All is well."
