$50 Million Hudson Valley Lodge Breaks Ground

A new $50 million construction project in Sullivan County has broken ground and the 5-star luxury lodge will feature 50 rooms with room for another 50 if it takes off. The Times Herald-Record reports up to $100 million could end up being invested by Dream Hotel Group if The Chatwal Lodge is a success.

With room prices ranging from $500 to $5,000 the lodge isn't going to be affordable to everyone. The luxury lodge and retreat will be built inside the residential community known as Chapin estate in Bethel

Dream Hotel Group is currently undergoing massive growth with 20 hotels under construction They currently operate 20 hotels and 50 restaurants and bars around the globe.

The first phase of the project is expected to be complete in late 2020 and will feature a 13,000 square foot lodge, restaurant, pool, fitness center, and wedding area to go along with the 50 rooms. Perhaps some of the most unique accommodations on site will be a series of glass-roofed treehouses.
