Two children and two adults were injured in a two-car crash in the Hudson Valley.

On Friday around 8:50 a.m., a woman from Carmel was driving a car in a southbound direction on Seminary Hill Road, with her three children riding as passengers, when she reportedly lost control of her car on a patch of ice.

Her vehicle slid sideways and crossed into the northbound lane of the road, colliding with a northbound car driven by another woman from Carmel.

Two of the children were injured in the crash, police say. A 6-year-old boy suffered an apparent broken collarbone, and his 12-year-old sister injured her leg. Both drivers complained of neck and back pain.

The driver of the southbound car and her two injured children were taken to Danbury Hospital. The other driver was transported to Putnam Hospital Center. The impact caused heavy damage to both vehicles.
