3rd Annual Ulster Hose Parade and Tree Lighting

This great event takes place tonight (Friday December 15th).

It's such a great time of year here in the Hudson Valley. There are a ton of Holiday Festivals and tree lightnings going on all across the Valley and tonight is one of my favorite events of the year.

Our friends at the Ulster Hose Company #5 are set for their 3rd annual Christmas parade and tree lighting.

The parade part of the celebration will start at 6 p.m. on Wrentham Street and head to VanKuren Highway and will then wrap up at the Ulster Hose Headquarters.

After the parade ends they will have their annual Christmas tree lighting and their awesome bike raffle.

The yearly bike raffle this year will feature over 150 bikes. The bikes this and every year are made possible thanks to the very generous donations made to the fire company from local businesses throughout the town and surrounding areas, according to their website.

Refreshments including, hot chocolate, fried dough and cookies will be served after the parade.
