3 Plead Guilty After Murder of Hudson Valley Teen

Three men from the Hudson Valley confessed to their roles in the shooting death of a local teen.

On Friday in Orange County Court, Tramel Morman, 25, of Middletown pleaded guilty to murder. 21-year-old Juwan Dolson pleaded guilty to attempted murder while Isaya Dolson, 21, of Middletown pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, for the murder of Coree White, 19, in the City of Middletown.

All three are alleged members of a Middletown gang "Coke Wave." An indictment alleged all three and other gang members, sold drugs, illegally possessed firearms and committed violent acts against rival groups.

The group killed White on August 17, 2017, to help Coke Wave members’ conspiracy to sell narcotics in relation to an ongoing dispute with a rival gang, the Guap Gang, officials say.

During the investigation into the death of White an investigation into the gang was started by the City of Middletown Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, aided by the New York State Police, including its Community Narcotics Enforcement Team; special agents from the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group.

In August, 13 alleged to be members or associates of “Coke Wave” were arrested and charged with crimes ranging from murder, to narcotics sales, to conspiracy, in an enforcement action dubbed “Operation Wipeout.”
