Thanksgiving is really about great food but let's face it, all good eats deserve a good beverage to complete the meal. First off it is important during the holidays that we keep in mind that people will be traveling and we should always offer a tasty non-alcoholic beverage for our designated drivers.

For our other party guest it would be fun to create a festival specialty cocktail possibly using some locally sourced ingredients. We are very fortunate to live in a place that has many amazing spirit and wine craftspeople who would be thrilled if you included their products in your holiday menu. If you are thinking of sampling some local fare I recently was told about a new place called the Gardner Liquid Mercantile that specialize in local spirits and specialty cocktails. They maybe able to help you plan your drink menu.

Also check out ideas from Drink Tube. I think the Clementine & Sage Mule is going to be my pick for Thanksgiving.
