Following an undercover investigation, two Hudson Valley teens were arrested for allegedly selling drugs.

In September 2017, a deputy assigned to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit developed information that ana man and woman, both 18, were allegedly selling prescription medications in Putnam County.

The undercover deputy was later sold Xanax pills by the teens on several occasions, police say.

While taking the man into custody, police allege he was in possession of 24 doses of LSD.

Both were charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.

The 18-year-old man was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband, all felonies.

Both were sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility. The man in lieu of $20,000 cash bail, the woman in lieu of $2,500 cash bail. Police didn’t release their names.
